Delivered by Alison Graham from Atkins & Yvonne Ainsworth from JRL Engineering.
The BGA Early Career Group is pleased to invite you to February’s event 'Preparing for ICE Professional Review - Avoiding 'geotechnical failures''. The talk will provide practical guidance for geotechnical engineers on how to approach the Professional Review and interpret the ICE guidelines into the geotechnical field. If you are considering sitting your Professional Review in the near future, this event will be a unique opportunity to get insight from two very experienced and well-accomplished geotechnical engineers, who are currently ICE Reviewers. Alison Graham will present some tips and advice on how to avoid potential pitfalls at the Professional Review. Yvonne Ainsworth will talk about how to achieve different attributes and demonstrate competence at the Professional Review.
The presentations will be followed by a short mock review including a presentation and an interview with a recent successful geotechnical engineer. This will be followed by a Q & A session with Alison, Yvonne and a number of recent successful candidates. Thanks are extended to AECOM for hosting the event.
