The British Geotechnical Association (BGA) is the principal
association for geotechnical engineers in the United Kingdom.
The BGA ECG and BTSYM are running a four session CPD course titled ‘A Brief Introduction to Python in Plaxis’ that will provide insights on how you can use Python to speed up your Plaxis modelling both pre and post analysis.
BGA Annual Conference 2023 and AGM will be held at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London, as an in-person event.

The BGA Annual Dinner is a new addition to BGA’s annual calendar of events. This prestigious occasion will bring together the geotechnical community for an evening of fine food, socializing and networking. The inaugural BGA Annual Dinner will also include a lecture by Professors John Burland and Jamie Standing on the underpinning of Winchester Cathedral. The lecture will only be open to those attending the dinner.
The XVIII European Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ECSMGE) will take place in Lisbon, from 26th - 30th August 2024.
